Federico is an Investment Analyst at Granpool, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and supporting investments across deep tech, biotechnology, and industrial innovation.

He holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Cambridge, where his research focused on advanced biomaterials and regenerative medicine. He has studied and conducted research across Germany, US, and the UK, including at the Technical University of Munich and Northwestern University.

Before joining Granpool, Federico gained venture capital experience at Start Codon (now part of Cambridge Innovation Capital) and served as Head of Venture Capital at the Cambridge University Venture Capital & Private Equity Society, bridging academic scientific innovation and early-stage investing.

Federico is fluent in English, German, and Italian.
